Chef Paul Seaman is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and has experience as an executive chef in Chicago and Los Angeles as well as being the Chef at the Sioux City Art Center’s Gardner Café. An American Culinary Federation accepted chef with five children of his own, Chef Paul loves teaching children about food. During these classes, students will learn how to prepare a family breakfast, an evening meal, and a pastry dessert. Throughout the three weeks, the emphasis will be on appropriate food handling, preparation, storing, and serving. Each Saturday Art Lesson begins at 10:30 am sharp. (Don’t be late.) Students will work in a variety of media, ranging from painting with acrylics, to drawing with pastels, printing with inks, molding with clay or sculpting in plaster, wire, or wood. Children will be guided through a fascinating art-making experience each day. Artwork will be sent home at the end of each class. No pre-registration is expected…pay as you go...come on the Saturdays you can. Bring your friends! Dress to be messy.
